I'm the founder and CEO of Product Manager Dojo. After graduating from NYU Stern, I worked as a management consultant for Deloitte as well as a business analyst before transitioning to product management. Currently, I am a digital product manager at Invesco.
I started Product Manager Dojo in 2020 to help students and professionals land their dream product manager job. "Dojo" is a Japanese term that refers to a hall for immersive learning, and generally has martial arts connotations. I chose it because to me, finding a product manager job is like fighting and winning a series of different battles with different people. It's my job to train and coach you so that you have the right information, tools and mentality to go out there and win those battles.
Especially for those who are not coming from a product background, breaking into product management can seem extremely daunting. That's how I felt when I was looking for my first product manager job. I had no idea where to start and essentially over the course of many months, performed a lot of trial and error to see what worked in terms of the resume and interview. Eventually I figured out a repeatable methodology that I could use to get my next product role.
